I am tempted to apply for this position despite the fact that I am probably no where near qualified but hell what do I have to lose. I mean how hard could it be to manage a road course that hosts plenty of racing events year round.

I'll only support your candidacy if you bring back Indycar.

I want the job and I want to bring in Indy Car and if possible maybe even bring in V8SC. Too bad my wife won't let me move to Portland.

Uggh I almost wish I had majored in Business and didn't go into PR. I work in racing as it is but I absolutely love the Portland area so this would be amazing

That would be my number one task. Apparently all that's needed is a willing race promoter to step up and lure IndyCar back to Portland.

Do I have to finish my Associates in Business first?
Where is my DD-214?
I can make that commute without moving, right? Seattle to Portland? Maybe I need a helicopter....

The dream of the racing enthusiast is alive in Portland.

Damn it pays well, $6-8k a month. My definition of "pays well" is purely when compared to my current pay, haha. From the job requirements I do think they are implying they want someone with some significantly relevant experience. It would be a hell of an awesome job though! I need to start making career moves that prime me for raceway management, lol.

I have an associates in business and years of call center experience. Let me see if that is enough to make the cut hehe
